China launches its largest Haixun01 patrol vessel on Wuhan

Chinese the largest and equipped with the most advanced and comprehensive systems large cruise salvage “Haixun01″ launched into the water in Wuhan on 28th July. And it is expected to service in the year. China will have a new law enforcement flagship boat, play an important role for the preservation of the marine sovereignty, security and cleaning.

According to the Secretary Xu Guoyi of Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, the “Haixun01″ at the same time China’s first large cruise salvage vessels for maritime supervision and assistance functions in the national jurisdiction of the maritime area for the enforcement of maritime cruise, safety supervision, Life Search and Rescue, marine forensics investigations, oil spill monitoring and emergency response tasks.

According to the to Tang Gongjie, General Manager of Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd., the 5,418-tonnage Haixun01 is 128.6 meters in length. Its sailing speed is 37 km per hour and has a maximum sailing distance of 10,000 nautical miles (18,520 km) without refueling. “Haixun01″ is equipped with medium-sized helicopter hangar and a large helicopter landing platform.

It is understood that the vessel has a strong collection of information processing and transmission, integrated command, maritime regulation, the ship in distress, towing, sea oil recovery capacity, and implementation of a compartment closure, plugging and other professional rescue ship in distress, can be equipped with 200 of persons rescued, simple drugs, devices and surgical treatment of the wounded.

Huang Ho, Vice Secretary of the Ministry of Transport Maritime Bureau, said, “Haixun01″ put into use, will help to raise the level of China’s maritime monitoring equipment, and is conducive to safeguarding China’s maritime traffic safety.

It is reported that the Coast Guard 01 “Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. is responsible for construction, after serving managed by the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration.

Other enforcement vessels

In addition to the 5000-ton enforcement vessels to be delivered “Haixun01″, of two 3,000-ton maritime enforcement vessels “Haixun 11″ and “Haixun 31″.

September 28, 2009, “Haixun 11″ was included in the maritime law enforcement sequence as part of Shandong Maritime Safety Administration is mainly responsible for the North Sea cruise law enforcement tasks. The total length of 114 meters, a displacement of 3249 tons and a range of 6,000 nautical miles.

“Haixun 31″ is Chinese’s first Coast Guard ship with helicopter landing platform. “Haixun 31″ has a total length of 112.8 meters, a displacement of 3000 tons, a range of 6,000 nautical miles, a maximum speed of 22. On February 22, 2005 it was included in the sequence of maritime law enforcement, under the Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration.

“Haixun 106″ is a catamaran-type maritime patrol ship. In May 2010 it was incorporated into the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration of Yangshan Port Marine. Total length of 49 m, molded breadth of 13.8 m, maximum wind resistance rating of 11, maximum speed of 34. The ship has a good seaworthiness, seakeeping, fast, and maneuverability.
