Some resources esteem that this ship is a new member of Type 054 frigate. Possible Type 054C? Maybe not. In the developing family, Type 054 frigate has one 100 mm dual purpose gun based on Creusot-Loire T100C design, and Type o54A has a single-barrel 76mm gun (possibly Russian AK-176 copy) installed.
