Ge Zhenfeng said that with the constant development of the bilateral relations, the ties between the Chinese and Indian militaries have also obtained new progress, as evidenced by that the fields of exchanges are expanding and the cooperative achievements are increasing day by day. As the year 2010 is the 60th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Chinese side and the Indian side should work together to constantly deepen the exchanges and co-operation between the two militaries and do more things benefiting peoples of both countries in developing friendship between the two countries and maintaining peace and stability in Sino-Indian border area.Singh said that peoples of India and China have maintained the history of friendly contacts and the bilateral ties are friendly on the whole. The Indian side is willing to strengthen the friendly cooperation with the Chinese side, expand the exchanges and co-operation in the area of defense and further promote the all-round development of the relations between the two countries and the two militaries.
