Beijing, Dec 08 (China Defense Mashup Report by Johnathan Weng) -- The website of PLAdaily released some interesting photos of newest variants of PLA Air Force Q-5 ground-attack aircraft. The exact type of this kind of is still unknown. In the pictures, it can be found that the aircraft nose has a simple designator pod, which is not a complicated  targeting system but a laser beem reciever or capturer of a separate designator, either carried by ground forces or carried by another aircraft.
